Committed for organ and bone marrow leave California employers

Added new provisions to the labor code, California, in January 2011, to be effective will employers with 15 or more employees to grant paid leave as much as 30 days within a period of one year for employees of potential deceased donors and 5 day leave numbers within a period of one year for the employees, the bone marrow donation.


Employer account not the inclusion of this feast as a break in service for the purposes of the law on salary adjustments to establish the paid leave, sick leave, holidays or the employee's length of service.

To qualify for this new holiday in question, can the employer to the employee's written confirmation of the employer to provide employees with a donor organ or bone marrow is, and that requires medically necessary for the gift of organ or bone marrow.
