Legal and ethical aspects of organ transplantation

One of the greatest achievements of medical science is the transplantation of organs. People who have a lack of organs and are doomed to die can now a new lease on life to date on organ donors generously give to save a part of the body or to improve the lives of others. However, there are many ethical issues and controversies in organ transplants.

Discussions on ethics to Win inevitably questions like:-.

Trade in organs commercially, if not why? Can be a person who has already received a transplant from another? Should an alcoholic liver transplants, where, after all, it was their substance which damages their livers in the first place? What are the sources of organs for organ transplant operations?

Perhaps these ethical debates on the supply and distribution of human organs for transplants are the most controversial issues and are centered on issues such as the body and decide, like us, organ transplants, get?

Because there always some donors are less a potential beneficiaries, this body available very emotional and heated discussion, that's not surprising to get, because life is at stake.

The problem is thus enlarged, organ transplants are very expensive surgery and only the wealthy make them possible. The poorest can transplant ever get the opportunity, even if they need the most urgent of them richer. The choice is that the institutions are dependent, you can afford?

It is then that the issue of all will not be accepted, after the death of the donor in fact occurs. This is where the heart and lungs stop working or the donor is certified brain dead?

What is with the consent of the donor? At present has an organ donor to agree to ship the donor organs that are removed with the exception of Singapore, the human organ transplant (HOTA) challenged. The law requires that all citizens of Singapore has agreed to be elected bodies except one. However, the Muslims by the Act are made except religious ones.

What is the best way to obtain the consent of the donor? Legislation or based on donors willing?

Since most people can live with only one kidney or eye, equipment that can be given while the donor is still alive. Can the donor to sell his Kidney? The argument against the trade in human organs is to encourage poor people to sell their organs and even unethical organ can can syndicate snowshoes trade lead.

There are people, suffering and death row awaiting organ transplants save their lives and the decisions on the ethics of organ transplants have a huge impact on them. What is your position on these ethical questions of the transplantation of human body?
